Not extreme at all! Makes complete sense, though I’m sorry you went through it. Someone recently said to me ‘crazy situations make you act crazy’. You can say extreme situations (like the one you experienced) make you act extreme! Also I love how you parallel your response to the repairs (not happening) and your response to your ex-husband.
